Summer Staff

Each summer, we hire twelve counselors for seven weeks to meet the needs of our summer youth and family camps. These counselors go through a week of rigorous training and spiritual self-examination. This training will equip them with the skills and mindset necessary to fulfill Camp Fairwood’s mission of providing an excellent, Christian camping experience for all those who visit. In addition to the counselors, Camp Fairwood hires approximately twenty six support staff consisting of kitchen and dish crew, certified lifeguards, maintenance assistants, and wranglers. These staff are crucial in creating a safe and enjoyable environment for campers.

Counselors must be at least 18 years old showing strong spiritual maturity and a passion for serving God and others. Support staff must be at least 15 years old and have a willingness to work hard and serve God and others.
